High quality is our standard quality
Audio quality is of prime importance at Danmade. Everything is recorded as 32-bit, 96kHz WAV or AIF files. 16-bit, 48kHz MP3s encoded at 320kb/s are also supplied as standard. Our fully-finished, mix-ready audio is also supplied both with and without additional EQ refinements and dynamics processing, giving power back to the producer.
MixReady audio
All self-directed speech-based content is provided MixReady. No longer do you have to wade through vast amounts of audio to find the best take, chop out the errors, remove the breaths, apply fades to the top and tail of every edit, remove plosives or smooth out sibilance, becsause it's already done for you. All you have to do is decide whether you want to use the processed or unprocessed audio, and drop your preference onto the timeline of your DAW or NLE. MixReady audio gives precious time back to the producer.
Studio Facilities
The custom-built voice booth has a tight, dead sound, ideal for producers who prefer to work from a blank canvas, and there are 3 mics currently in Dan's mic locker: a Neumann TLM 103 large-diaphragm condenser mic, a Sennheiser MKH-416 shotgun mic and a Shure SM7B, 3 of the most-favoured mics for voice work.
There's a choice of 2 pre-amps: the SSL2, which emulates the sound of Solid State Logic's legendary 4000-series mixing console, and the new Avid MBox Studio. Antares' MicMod plug-in lets us turn any of our 3 mics into pretty-much whatever mic you like, from a rudimentary reporter's mic, to a ridiculously expensive Manley Reference Gold.
Our paperless voice booth delivers scripts via Teleprompter Pro and is equipped with an iMac, allowing it to double-up as a self-op production studio or voice-to-picture dubbing suite.
Connectivity to remote studios, indeed clients wherever they are, is made possible thanks to a 1 gigabit fibre optic broadband connection. For client-directed recording sessions, we use Bodalgocall, Source-Connect Nexus, Cleanfeed, Riverside, Remotely, Descript, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Skype, with other options available on request.
Powering the impressive, state-of-the-art studo facility at Danmade Content, is a Mac Mini Studio M1 Ultra with 64GB RAM, a 2TB SSD, 20-core CPU and 48-core GPU, with Presonus Studio One 6 Professional, Pro Tools Studio, Davinci Resolve Studio 19 and Final Cut Pro being used for audio, video, voice, music, audiobook and showreel production.
Instrument libraries include the entire EastWest set including all their Hollywood Orchestral libraries, a selection of sample libraries from Native Instruments, and from Spitfire Audio we have Albion One, BBC Symphony Orchestra Professional and Trevor Horn's Jupiter.
